What would you be doing?
As our client?s Laboratory Manager, you manage all branch operations with responsibility for the following:
1. Overseeing all branch laboratory activities
2. Supervising a staff of 10 team members, including the Lab Supervisor and administrative staff
3. Ensuring that all branch-specific activities, work instructions and forms are properly documented and submitted for review by appropriate manager
4. Performing regulatory compliance duties, including the review and revision of SOPs and maintenance of branch accreditation and license records
5. Managing client depositor process, including conducting initial consultations, making recommendations to lab, reviewing infectious disease screening and semen processing reports and consulting with clients and physicians as needed
6. Assuring the timely preparation of all daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports to the VP of Operations and to the respective managers of donor program, cryogenics, quality, compliance and genetics
7. Monitoring and overseeing facilities, including building and equipment maintenance, security, supplies and agreements

Here are a few other things we?re seeking in our ideal candidate:
1. MT certification required; ASCP certification preferred
2. Bachelor of Science degree required
3. Proven supervisory experience required
4. Clinical laboratory experience required
5. Ability to travel up to 20%, including to the corporate office at least four times/year, required
6. Tissue banking experience a plus
7. Experience with FDA inspections ideal
8. Strong leadership and great communication skills
